Sofia night life : Rome sightseeing and shopping

А 1700 years ago, when the roman emperor Constantine the Great had come to Bulgaria he had been astounded and had said: "Serdica is my Rome!" Serdica is the ancient name of Sofia – the capital city of Bulgaria. The city is a unique combination of ancient and modern – it keeps its amazing cultural heritage from centuries. In the same time it provokes your senses with its dynamic rhythm and entertainment possibilities – like all modern European cities. And Rome – The Eternal city, is just at an hour flight time from Sofia. We offer a great opportunity to combine visit of two of the most beautiful capitals on the Old continent – the Bulgarian beauty Sofia and the pearl of the Apennines – Rome.

Day 1

Arrival to Sofia airport. Transfer and accommodation in 4* or 5* hotel in the city center. Dinner with vegetarian menu and evening free at leisure. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 2

Buffet breakfast in the hotel. Short panoramic tour around Sofia and visit to the most interesting historical sights: the Alexander Nevski Cathedral, the St. Sofia Church, which had given the name of the city and the historical and cultural center of the capital.
Transfer to Vitosha National park to visit National Museum of History with it's unique collection of gold treasures. Lunch in a local restaurant with chicken or vegetarian meal. Afternoon free at leisure or shopping. Sofia has 6 big shopping Malls representing all famous international brands, which could be found on very attractive prices.
Dinner in Indian restaurant. Evening free at leisure, or enjoy the rich night life opportunities – discos, casinos, night clubs.

Day 3

After breakfast departure to the Rose Valley. From the middle of May till the middle of June you will be able to visit rose plantations with flowers blossoming. In Kazanlak city, which is the capital of the rose valley, we will visit authentic rose distillery, which produces high quality rose oil and exporting it to world renown perfumery and cosmetics factories like Chanel and etc. Visit also local cosmetics factory, where you will learn more about how the rose oil is used to produce the cosmetic goods. Possibility to by quality cosmetics on very attractive prices.

 

Return back to Sofia. Dinner in a typical Bulgarian folklore restaurant with music and dance show performance. After dinner you can enjoy the night life opportunities of Sofia. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 4

After breakfast – free time at leisure or shopping. Transfer to the airport and flight back home.
